Petra Carlsson is a freelance journalist and photographer specializing in articles about travel, culture, horseback riding, health and wellbeing. In addition to writing for various newspapers and magazines she is the author of the book Fem dagar i Båstad (Filmkonst) /Five days in Båstad/

Petra is educated at Poppius School of Journalism in Stockholm, where she also studied photojournalism. She also attended the school of photography at Kulturama in Stockholm for one year. Petra has studied film history at Stockholm University and the three year long East and Southeast Asia Program at Lund University with selected language Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian).
